For most of my adulthood, I was focused heavily on career development. Serving for several decades as a public relations professional and in the non-profit realm as a fundraiser, administrator, and independent consultant was highly stressful. But, for the most part, the work was greatly rewarding.

Life has an interesting way of revealing important truths during its various stages, though. Throughout my twenties and into middle age, I found inner peace by communing with Mother Nature during weekend fishing trips and by exploring and photographing rural areas near my home in New Jersey.

My camera was a constant companion then as it is now. But it wasn’t until the wife and I moved here to Horseheads, NY, that semi-retirement gave me sufficient time to relax and dive deeply into the wondrous “rabbit hole” of landscape and nature photography. Now, at an advanced age, photography has helped me understand that living fully in the moment is life’s greatest pleasure.

Capturing light at just the right time as it lovingly caresses a mountainside or intensifies the beauty of a single autumn leaf is joy at its purest. And few experiences can top the exhilaration of photographing the final, priceless seconds of a magnificent lakeside sunset. I’ll always cherish times like that--spiritually powerful moments when God conveys his infinite love through a visual good night kiss.

But enough about me! I’d truly enjoy learning more about you, my website visitors. I’m delighted that you’ve stopped by to view my images and hope you’ll come back often. And while you’re here, please take a moment to join my email list, enabling us to establish an ongoing dialogue.
